It shouldn’t be this cold at the end of April! Well, I don’t think it should be anyway, especially as we’ve been tempted by the warm weather last week…
We’ve had another good week in school this week, with lots of fun and laughter (as well as some learning!). A few things to tell you about this week, and I hope you have a good bank holiday weekend.
Bank Holiday
A reminder (although I’m sure you don’t need one) that it is Bank Holiday on Monday next week (3rd May), so school will be closed. See you all back on Tuesday.
Voting Day
Initially, we were told that schools wouldn’t be used for voting this year as children had already missed enough time. However, that changed when it was realised that there weren’t enough other venues available to carry out the voting process properly. Therefore, school will be closed next Thursday (6th May). We will be providing some home learning activities through the school website should you want to do some work with your child. There will be no live sessions through TEAMS for any year group. School will be open again as normal on Friday 7th May.
Pedmore Thrive
The latest issue of Pedmore Thrive can be found here. Issue 13!
Parking in St Peter’s Road/Roundabout
We’ve had some residents who live in St Peter’s Road asking that, when parking, could drives not be blocked. I appreciate parking around school is difficult, but please be aware and considerate of others.
PTA 100 Club
This month’s draw has taken place…have a look on the PTA Facebook page, or the PTA page on the school website, to find out the winning numbers!
