Children Celebrating Ramadan
We want to help and support any children and families during this celebration if any children are fasting whilst at school. Please let us know if your child is fasting whilst at school so we can help in any way we can.
Reminder About Procedures in School
To keep the spread of coronavirus under control and keep our school as covid secure as possible, please continue to follow the key principles below:
- Risk assessment – our risk assessment for the measures we have in place at school can be found here and here.
- All students/staff must not attend school and must inform school if
– they or members of their household have covid-19 symptoms – they should arrange a PCR test
– they or members of their household have tested positive on LFD or PCR in the last 10 days (anyone with a positive LFD should book a confirmatory PCR test)
– they have been told to isolate as a contact. Close contacts can now book a PCR test as a contact book a test
– they feel unwell
– they should be isolating for 10 days following recently returning from overseas.
- As a family, please continue to take part in the national test at home programme. Lateral flow, rapid testing kits are available to all via the .gov website here.
- Follow and adhere to the government guidance
The Department for Education (DfE) has made a number of updates to education guidance to reflect changes in requirements for face coverings.
The updated guidance includes:
