This is how things have gone so far!

Many of us had some anxiety about the wider opening of school this week. After being open to only a small Key Worker group for the previous few weeks, having a lot more children in school was unusual! We had spent a lot of time planning for more children to return. Risk assessments and plans can be seen here, and some pictures of how a couple of the classrooms look (and a video for Reception) can be seen here.

You have all made decisions based on what you feel is right for you and your family, and I support you in those decisions. I have put some quotes from some lovely emails we have received from parents whose children came in on the first day – have a read of them here.

We have found that children have risen to the challenge of things being different in school – they are used to having separate desks; having to be mindful of keeping distances when outside; and are becoming fastidious about hand washing and sanitising! We have tried to make everything as ‘normal’ as we possibly can for our children and they are being little stars about everything!

We will keep you updated as to how things are going and what the plans will be moving forward (when we know more!).
