First week back after half term done. I hope you all had a good break – children have settled back in quickly and we’re now starting the run-up to Christmas! There will be more details over the coming weeks of events that are happening in school in the run up to Christmas.

Elements Diocesan Learning Trust

Finally! I am pleased to announce that Pedmore CE Primary School is now part of the Elements Diocesan Learning Trust. Everything finally went through and was approved during the past few weeks, and the conversion happened on 1st November. It has taken a couple of years to get to this point – the Trust has been set up from scratch and we are one of the founding schools. This will, over time, provide exciting opportunities for children and staff at school and we look forward to sharing these developments with you. Should you want to see more information about Elements, the website will be up and running very soon. www.edlt.org.uk

Parking

PLEASE think of others when dropping off or picking up your child. The zig-zags at the bottom of the field ARE NOT there to be used to drop children off or to park on. They are there for a reason – to keep vehicles away from the entrance to keep everyone safe. Thank you.

Opportunity to View Books

We are holding a book drop-in for you to come and view your child’s work, and see what they have been doing so far this term. This will be held on Wednesday 16th November, from 15:45 – 17:45. Entrance will be through the staff car park.

Winter Fayre

A reminder that this year’s Winter Fayre is being held on Friday 18th November, 16:30 – 20:00. PTA would love your support with help on the evening – there is a sign-up sheet available in the school office if you can spare any time. Details have been sent out separately.

Smart Watches

A reminder that watches that have cameras, or are able to send and receive messages, are not allowed to be worn in school. Thank you.
