It’s been a few weeks since the last newsletter, including the Easter break, so there’s a bit to tell you about in this one! We have some King’s Coronation things to share with you; some pictures and info about the coronation picnic we held this week; pictures and info about Year 4’s visit to the hippodrome; as well as some information about events happening during half term.

I hope you have a great bank holiday weekend and we’ll see you all again next week.

Coronation Picnic on the Field

On Thursday, when school was closed to children for voting, Ruth Hill organised a coronation picnic on the field. It was a fantastic turn out, so thanks to all of you who came along. All of the activities and stalls were there and gave their time and resources freely – which was fantastic. Here is a list of all the local businesses who came along:

Year 4, along with Year 4 from St Mary’s, went to see the Welsh National Opera perform at the Hippodrome this week. It was a fantastic show with lots of songs the children knew and opportunities for them to get involved!

Children have done some activities in class today to mark and celebrate the King’s Coronation this weekend. You can see some photos below, including photos of the artwork currently being shown on the windows at the front of school. Pop by and have a look over the weekend.
