Welcome back! End of the first week back after Easter; I hope you all had a relaxing break over the Easter holiday. Is anyone fed up of chocolate yet?! This week has gone quickly in school, and this half term is always a bit of a funny one, broken up with bank holidays and voting days. More about that below. Have a good weekend ?
Queen’s Jubilee Celebration
As part of our Jubilee celebrations at the end of May, we are giving the children the opportunity to create a commemorative plate. Details have been sent out through ParentMail. We would really appreciate it if you could help us out by donating the cost of the plate for your child. Thank you.
100 Club
Here is this month’s PTA 100 Club draw.
Bank Holiday/Voting Day
Just a reminder that school will be closed on Monday May 2nd for Bank Holiday, and Thursday May 5th as school is used as a voting centre.
Dan’s Challenge
During the last two and a half weeks Dan in Year 5 has been completing The Conqueror’s Virtual Kilimanjaro Challenge to raise funds for the DEC for Ukraine. It’s a total of 60.3 miles. He’s down to the last 10 miles. He’s raised over a £1000 as it stands at the moment! An excellent achievement – well done Dan! If anyone would like to donate please do so through this link: https://www.justgiving.com/Danwalks60miles
Sponsored PE Activity for Ukraine
On that note, children have been completing their sponsored activity to raise as much as they can to help all of those affected by the war in Ukraine. Please send your sponsor forms and sponsor money into school as soon as you can please. Thank you.
