Forest School Update
The rain has certainly made Forest school so much fun!
With the mud pit full of water makes it great for jumping in, making bridges, with children working together to problem solve and having lots of fun.
This week, Year 1 looked at the different type of leaves in forest school, learning their names and their differences as well as getting creative using the leaves.
They enjoyed toast from the fire and talked about the book, The Enchanted Wood, they are reading in class and found their very own Faraway Tree.
Forest school gives children not only the space to play, learn new skills but helps to consolidate and develop their classroom learning and builds their connection with nature!
For more information and updates on what we get up to in Forest School, do give my social media pages a follow and for tickets for outside events please check out this link

Finally I am hoping to do some apple pressing with the children, if anyone has an abundance of apples they are happy to give to me, I would be very grateful.
Plus if the children fancy collecting conkers and fir cones for me that would be amazing too!
Have a lovely weekend
