Here we are again at the end of another week…into autumn and cooler weather. Not quite as much information this week as last, but still plenty to read and look at!
Pedmore Thrive
This week’s Pedmore Thrive focuses on how you can help your child if they are struggling. You can read it here. Along with that, you can find some conversation starters to help you talk to your child. They can be found here.
Safeguarding – Online Bullying Resources
Online bullying is a concern for many parents, online can often be a hidden aspect of many children’s lives and children will not always talk if they are being bullied. Internet Matters have put some expert tips together for parents which are split by ages. You can find out more here.
Multi-Sports Club
Details of a sports club at Haybridge during October half term can be found here.
Children’s Birthdays
A reminder that if it’s your child’s birthday, they can come into school in their own clothes on that day. If it falls in a holiday, or on a weekend, they can choose a day either side to come in their own clothes instead. This is something we have done for many years instead of children bringing in sweets to give out to their class.
Snacks in School
If you wish to send your child in with a snack for break time, please remember that it has to be fresh fruit or vegetables only. Thank you.
INSET Day
We have a date for a training day when school will be closed for children. This date is Monday 31st October – the first day after the October half term. Other INSET dates have already been sent to you and Mrs Perry will be reminding you of these in due course.
