We are moving further into spring, and there are shoots of spring weather coming too! Some more information to share with you this week, so settle down and have a read of everything below. Have a good weekend and we’ll see you next week!

Attendance Letter

in the next week or so you will be receiving an attendance letter specific to your child. Please take time to read all the information in this letter – it gives a picture of attendance over the year so far for your child and also other information about attendance in general.

Attendance

Whole School – 96.24%

Reception – 98.0%

Year 3 – 98.0%

Year 2 – 97.04%

Year 4 – 96.97%

Year 1 – 95.52%

Year 5 – 95.15%

Year 6 – 92.93%

Well done Reception and Year 3!

Lunchtime Waste

A reminder that if a child brings a packed lunch to school, then the expectation is that all the rubbish from that lunchbox is taken home. There are a couple of reasons for that: it lets you, as parents and carers, know what has been eaten for lunch; and it helps us as school to reduce the amount of waste, and therefore the number of rubbish bins we have to pay for. Thank you for your understanding.

Can't believe there are only two more weeks until the next break, half term (or Whitsun, as many of us know it as). It does get ridiculous when Easter is so late and we end up with a very short first summer half term. Throw in a bank holiday (as nice as that was) and...
