Another glorious sunny week this week with lots of fun and play on the field at lunchtimes. Please remember to send your child in with a sunhat and put suncream on them before they come to school. Have a lovely weekend.

PTA Thank You

A clean up of the school playground, organised by PTA last weekend, has really spruced up the area. A big ‘thank you’ from us – it looks great!

Values Award

Evelyn, in Year 5, has won an award presented to her from Birmingham City Women FC, who she represents in one of their girls’ teams. The award was given for showing their club values over the course of the season. Her coach said this of Evelyn: “Evelyn works extremely hard. Whenever she is told something she goes back to do it. This has helped her to succeed.” Well done Evelyn!

Break and Lunchtime

Can we please request that parents don’t pass things through the gate/fence at lunchtimes or break times if they see their child. We have had instances of food/sweets being passed through to children and we want to discourage this completely. Thank you for your help in this.

Attendance

This week we have had joint attendance winners – well done to Year 3 and Year 6!

Message From PTA

Dear All, 

Firstly, we would like to thank everyone who took part in the Silver Smarties challenge. We raised a fantastic £720.70! The tubes from each class have been counted and the class who returned the most tubes will be announced in school time. 

A reminder that tickets for the Colour Run are on sale now. Pictures of last years event are on our Facebook and Instagram pages if you would like to see what the event is like. Tickets are selling well and are limited in number so please act quickly to not miss out on the chance to take part. The Colour Run will take place on Sunday 15th June at Old Halesonians Rugby Club from 11am-2pm. There will be a bbq and bar, making for a fun and exciting way to celebrate Fathers Day with your nearest and dearest. All welcome.
