Android Phone Security Settings

Android smartphones have parental controls for the Play store but not on the device itself. These allow you to set the maturity level of apps and set a PIN code for purchases. A walk-through on how to do this is on the link below.

Forest School

Year 4 have continued their sessions in forest school and the rain has made for the perfect mud pit and they certainly love the mud!

We have also had some amazing shows with some extremely talented children.

The children requested more Ingredients for the mud kitchen. So with added bird food, shaving foam, herbs and flowers and we have had some amazing creations and some beautiful mud spirits too added to the trees.

I recently replaced snd extended the mud kitchen and it’s so lovely to see the children enjoy it do much.

Break In

As you may have heard last weekend, forest school had some unwelcome visitors. Sadly they ransacked the hut and broke and threw lots of resources around the site. As you can imagine, it was really tough as that site means the world to me.

But after a weekend of sorting and tidying, we have the site back  to normal. Huge thank you to all of you who have offered support and for those who have kindly donated to a crowdfunding  page that one of my families kindly set up. I have been overwhelmed by the love and kindness so many have shown. Thank you so much.

It has been reported to the police and they have advised they will increase their community patrols.

Please if you do see anyone on the field or forest school who shouldn’t be there, please do report to the police and also let me know.

Questionnaire

I really value your opinion and feedback on forest school provision. I would be really grateful if you could complete this short questionnaire. There are a few questions that I would like the children to answer with you too please.

Many thanks

Who has been doing all the singing? Rain everywhere...drains have been filling up quicker than they can drain away, which has meant a lot more water down on the path by the field. Hopefully things will dry up soon. Have a good weekend and see you all next week....
