Well, not the end to the week that we’d hoped for – but we did manage to have a great day on Thursday with our World Book Day event. It was great to see so many children coming dressed up, with some wonderful outfits representing nouns, adjectives and characters! Lots of reading and sharing of books went on during the day; teachers moved around classes to read to a class different from their own; reading challenges were set; and everyone loved our ‘Stop, Drop & Read’ sessions when the school bell went off!
Have a good weekend everyone, and we’ll see you next week.
