Dates of Events at St Peter’s
Dear Families
We hope you are all well and enjoyed the jubilee celebrations. We would like to let you know of what is happening now and soon at St Peter’s Pedmore.

This annual event is now taking place in St Peter’s Churchyard until and including Sunday 12th June. There is a chance to record the insects, birds and mammals you see (bug boxes available), write a prayer for taking care of the Earth and all God’s creatures. There are books and magazines on nature for free, bark rubbing and looking for different trees and plants. Activity Guides, available in the Lychgate.

The Jubilee Trail around the churchyard will also be kept in place until next Sunday. Follow the crowns, which spell out a word and there is a free special jubilee book available from the porch at the end. Collect trail sheets from the Lychgate too.
Both these events are open in daylight hours from 9am each day.
Every afternoon this week the church will be open from 2pm – 4.30pm. There are displays of memorabilia from the years of the Queen’s reign, beautiful arrangements of flowers and a special window decorated by the Rainbows.

Holiday Requests
We have had a huge increase in the number of holiday requests in term time. As you are aware, holiday requests cannot be authorised unless and exceptional circumstance. I understand the reasons for many requests but I am unable to authorise them. Please be aware that these absences can result in fines being issued by Dudley LA.
