January is always such a difficult month for all of us, especially after the excitement of Christmas and New Year. We still have a number of Covid positive cases, although this number has reduced from last week. Please keep regularly testing at home.

We have had a difficult week staffing-wise in school, to the point where we nearly had to have a class or two home-learning for a couple of days. This is obviously something that we would only do as a last resort, but I wanted to let you know that it is still a possibility. Getting supply staff is nigh-on impossible at the moment, especially at short notice. We try to cover everything as much as we can, Year 6 and Year 5 have had the pleasure of me this week, much to their disappointment (!), but even then we can struggle.
