The sun is shining and it’s a lovely Spring day…I hope you all have a relaxing, peaceful Easter break. Thank you for all your support this term and we look forward to seeing you again in a couple of weeks.

Staff News

We said ‘goodbye’ yesterday to Mrs Bird, who has worked at Pedmore for over 20 years. It was an emotional day for everyone involved and Mrs Bird had a good send off from everyone at Pedmore. We wish her all the very best in her retirement.

Miss Troth, our Year 6 teacher, is also leaving at the end of the school year, as is Miss Hall, our Reception teacher. Miss Troth is moving to another school for a promotion, and Miss Hall is going to teach in another country! They have both been fantastic at Pedmore and we wish them both good luck as they move to the next stage in their careers. We still have them both for another term yet though!

After Easter we have a new member of support staff joining us here at Pedmore, Mrs Iles. We look forward to welcoming her to the team.

Fundraising at School

Three girls from Year 4, Evelyn, Betsy and Phoebe, have done some fundraising for WWF, and raised over £40.00! Well done girls! They have now sponsored a snow leopard.
