Another week gone and I can’t believe how quickly this half term is going. More restrictions are lifted from next Monday, but, for the foreseeable future, nothing will be changing in our procedures in school. We would still ask you to continue to wear masks when dropping off and collecting children. This is following the advice given from Dudley LA. Thank you.

There’s not much on the newsletter this week; have a great weekend and see you all again on Monday!

Christian Aid Week Collections

This week has been Christian Aid week. Your child will have come home with an envelope last Friday. If you haven’t done so yet, please send any donations into your child’s class teacher. Thank you.

Crossing Outside School

We’ve been made aware by a number of parents that at busy times of the day, around drop-off and collection, there are times when traffic will jump the lights or not stop when they should. If you are crossing with your child, please make sure they are away from the kerb, and double-check before crossing. I appreciate this is an obvious thing to say, but we would hate there to be any accidents involving any of our school community.

PCR Tests

There have been some reports that the call handlers on the 119 line to book a PCR test are refusing to give a test appointment if the person is not showing symptoms, even though this is against government advice. We have been informed by the local authority that the best way to get around this is to book your test online. You can do that here.
