Here we are! After a very (what seems like!) long term, we are at the Easter break. Even though children have only been back a few weeks, I think everyone would agree that it has been a tiring term for everyone involved – including all you home teachers!
I would like to thank you for all of your support, patience and understanding, not only this term but over the past 12 months. Can’t believe it’s been a year since this all started!
Since the children have been back, we have been assessing where children are with their learning and tailoring our curriculum offer accordingly. Thank you for all of your support with home learning – it really has made a difference. Hopefully, (in the nicest possible way) you won’t be doing that any more after Easter and children can be in school, where they should be.
It is important that we all do everything we can to follow the guidance over the Easter break, and the coming weeks, as the level of infections are rising and the area around Pedmore is higher than most.
I hope you all manage to have a relaxing break, with lots of family time (and maybe a little chocolate), and we look forward to seeing you all in a couple of weeks time.

PTA Thank You
A big ‘THANK YOU’ to the PTA for providing all of the children with an Easter egg this week, and also for providing big eggs for the winners of the Easter design competition. Winners are below. I have told children that if they are struggling to eat their eggs this year, Mrs Dowen and I are more than happy to help them out if need be. Surprisingly, no-one was particularly keen to take us up on the offer.

We have been informed today that Dudley LA will be using our school for voting this year. Therefore, school will be closed all day on Thursday 6th May 2021.
