A Plea From School
"Love one another, as I have loved you." John 13:34

As a school we are doing everything we can to reduce the risk of transmission. As well as all of our bubble procedures, staff are doing extra, both in their professional and personal life, to ensure school, and your children, are as safe as possible. We have virtually no mixing of staff across bubbles in school; no mixing of children across bubbles at any point during the school day (including lunchtimes and break times. We’ve even changed our fire drill procedures to ensure minimal contact opportunities.); staff have no contact with anyone out of their bubble, including now spending breaks and lunchtimes in their classrooms so they can ensure they have minimum risk of transmission.

Therefore, it really saddens me to hear of so many children and families who are mixing together, either outside or indoors, after school and on weekends. Many children across school have shared with staff whose house they’ve been to play at, or how many friends they have met at the park, etc. It’s disappointing to know that whilst we are trying everything we can at school to keep everyone safe, many families outside of school are not. Whilst all we can do is implore you to follow all the national guidance, however fed up of it we may all be, there is a knock-on effect that bubbles will close if there are reported positive cases.

For those of you who are doing all you can to stay safe, we thank you.

Please can everyone follow the national guidance in order to keep everyone safe.

Thank you

MR DUNN
