NEWS

On the Field

Now that the sun is back, we’re back out on the field!

Volunteers

We are looking for volunteers to come and help out in school. This could be listening to children read; coming on school trips; helping out at forest school; generally helping out in school!

If you are interested please contact the school office for an application form.

Pedmore's Got Talent

Pedmore’s Got Talent is back!

July 9 in the afternoon. Keep the afternoon free to come and support some serious talent in school!

More details to follow after half term.

Black Country Week Dressing Up Day

Thursday 11 June, during Black Country Week in school, we will be having a dress up day. We will be asking children, if they wish, to dress up in some clothing that represents the Black Country.

More details to follow after half term.

Forest School

The woods have been buzzing with activity over the last few weeks.
Both reception and Year 3 have finished their sessions and we have had a fantastic time.
It was also very special to welcome Year 6 back. After a week of SATS for them to come and play in forest school was great to see.
Forest school certainly gives children that space to be free and this class absolutely love everything it offers.
Firelighting, tool use, play in all varieties, performing but best of all friendships and socialising. I love watching the connection, laughter and joy they share together. This memory making is just the best.
Whitsun Festival
On Wednesday of half term, I will be holding my second play festival of the year.
It’s a great family day where children can play freely, listen to the amazing storyteller Danny English, create and toast marshmallows.
Bring a picnic and stay all day, just one entry free and no other costs all day.
I have limited tickets left so grab them quickly.
Hope to see you there.
Have a lovely half term.

SAFEGUARDING

Roblox Kids and Roblox Select

Roblox have been making some big changes recently, and that now includes ‘age-gating’ so that children and young people get the experience according to their age. This means that there are now 3 types of Roblox accounts:

  • Roblox Kids – for children 5-8 years.
  • Roblox Select – for children 9-15 years.
  • Roblox – for anyone 16+.

For any users that have not completed an age check, they will be put into the youngest users category and parents can update or correct a child’s age through a linked account. The link below will take you to a simplified breakdown of the different accounts.
