NEWS

Baby Update!

Mrs Browning came in to visit school this week…and she brought Rudy in with her too. He met lots of adults and children and was remarkably chilled throughout it all!

Super Will!

Will, in Year 4, decided he wanted to support Mary Stevens Hospice. He ran a mile a day for the whole of Lent!
Well done Will!
If you would like to support his fundraising, please see the link below.

Cross Country

Before the Easter holiday, some of our children took part in a cross country competition with other schools from around Dudley.

It was a busy morning with some challenging weather conditions and a tough course, but they handled it really well.

With over 150 children attending from more than 20 schools, there was a fantastic atmosphere throughout the event. The children clearly enjoyed themselves.

 Overall, Pedmore placed 11th.

Thank you to Anna Hill for training and going with the children to the event.

Forest School

It was great to be back this week and Year 3 kicked off their sessions.
They were so excited to be back out playing and enjoying the freedom that forest school offers.
They soon got stuck in and have extended the mud pit to include a well! With all the rain it will probably stay pretty full!
Our forest school community continues with children taking responsibility to light the fire and prepare the snack and we were all treated to some culinary delights from the mud kitchen.
After School Family Sessions
I am hosting some family sessions in the woods for anyone who wants to come along. It is open to families outside of Pedmore too so please let others know.
The next date is 28th April and it is essential that you book via this link.
All proceeds will go to supporting therapeutic forest school at Pedmore.
You will also see the family festival that I hold in school holidays on the booking page. They are great fun and it would be lovely to see you there.
Have a lovely weekend
