Happy News

This week’s Happy News can be found here. It includes (another!) story about animal poo!

Safeguarding

A reminder that should you have any safeguarding concerns, you can find information about who to contact here. Or for any information about e-safety, and online safety, you can find out more information here.

“Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”

2 Corinthians 9:6-7

Forest School

This week we have enjoyed the beautiful Autumnal sunshine in Forest school.

Year 6 kicked off Forest Church for the year where we talked about the Autumn Equinox and how nature offers balance to our lives. Through the story of The Two Owls we discussed how important it is for us to get balance in our lives, and how play, relaxation, time with family and friends is just as important as school work.

Year 2 continued their forest school sessions and we noticed the autumnal changes. Each week there is a difference and it’s great for the children to develop this greater connection with nature.

Through play and creativity children chatted, laughed and performed.

We gathered round the fire for stories and snack and it’s always a joy to see how relaxed and content children are outside.

Cross Country

We had our first cross country club this week and  our biggest one yet!

It was great to see the energy and enthusiasm to run!

Children played games, ran laps and supported and cheered each other on.

If your child wants to run regularly, do consider our local junior Park Run based at Stevens Park Wollescote which happens every Sunday at 9am

All the details are here on their website

Have a lovely weekend
