As we reach the end of another school year, we are thinking about what has been a great year in the life of Pedmore CE Primary – again!.
It is with mixed emotions that we prepare to bid farewell to our Year 6 pupils, who are now ready to embark upon their next educational journey. These young people have been an integral part of our school family, and while we are immensely proud of their growth and development, we shall undoubtedly miss them when we come back next year. Their departure marks not an ending, but rather the beginning of an exciting new chapter in their lives.
The closing weeks of term have been filled with the customary end-of-year activities and celebrations that happen at this time of year. These events have provided wonderful opportunities for our pupils to showcase their talents and reflect upon their accomplishments throughout the year.
As we prepare for the summer break, I would like to take this opportunity to say a big ‘thank you’ to all members of our school community for their continued support and engagement throughout the year. The partnership between home and school remains fundamental to our pupils’ success, and I am grateful for the trust you place in us.
As you enjoy the well-deserved summer holidays, please take care and stay safe during this time. Please look after yourselves and make the most of this opportunity to rest and recharge. I hope that you will create wonderful memories together and return to us in September refreshed and ready for the new academic year ahead!
Have a great summer.

Forest School
Dear Parents/ Carers,
Forest school has now finished for this year. It’s been a great year with the children having such a great time in all seasons! We even had our first ever session where it snowed and it really was the best!
I have continued to develop the site and now have a new big mud kitchen and over the holidays will be making a few more changes that I hope will enhance the play and experience for your children.
Huge thank you to those who supported me after the break in. I really was blown away by the support of the community.
Many thanks to those of you who completed my evaluation, it was all extremely positive which is great to see. Please don’t ever hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or queries about forest school.
Over the holidays I have a few events with my first Family Festival! I have a brilliant storyteller coming, huge amounts of play opportunities, crafts and opportunity for you to come and chill with a picnic.
Plus there are some spaces left for my drop off holiday clubs as well as a Fairy and Pixie day.
To look at dates and book on sessions please scan the QR code.

I hope you all have a wonderful summer and hope to see some of you.
Warm regards
Ruth Hill
