Welcome back! (Well, next week anyway!) I hope you’ve all had a lovely summer break, and feel refreshed and ready to go. I have attached the details we sent out at the end of term to refresh your memories about arrangements for the start of the year.

Masks

Although there is less of an expectation to do so from guidance, we would still ask that you wear a mask at drop-off and pick-up, especially as we will be mixing more now. I understand that some of you may not want to do this, and obviously it is your choice, but I hope that we will all be trying to do all we can to minimise spread during the course of the return to school.

Equipment

Also, we are requesting that children in all year groups continue to only bring a coat, lunch box and water bottle to school. This worked really well over the past 18 months and we will be continuing with this arrangement going forward; everything will be provided that they need in school so there is no need for them to bring bags, pencil cases etc.

P.E. Kit

We are also sticking to the plan for children to come to school in their P.E. kit on the days they have P.E. These days are below:

Reception – Wednesday & Friday

Year 1 – Monday & Tuesday

Year 2 – Monday & Thursday

Year 3 – Thursday & Friday

Year 4 – Monday & Wednesday

Year 5 – Monday & Tuesday

Year 6 – Wednesday & Friday

You will have all received details through ParentMail about our start and end times for September. You can see a reminder here. Please remember that children will be dropped off at the gate – no parents will be on the playground in the morning. Any messages can be sent through email and/or telephone. Thank you.
