I hope you’ve all had a good week; we’ve had a really good week in school, with lots of things going on, but we have had to close a bubble which is sad for everyone concerned. Hopefully it will be the first and last. Lots to tell you about and remind you of again this week, so let’s get to it…
Listening Ear Wednesday
If your child has special educational needs, or a disability, then you can access some support here should you wish.
Mrs Robbins has updated the SEND area of the school website with lots of useful links and advice. Please make sure you have a look; this will be updated regularly.

Picture of the Week
Every week I’ll try to include a picture of something interesting that’s recently happened around the world.

Safeguarding Update
Just an update on how we continue to ensure that pupils are cared for within our school:
What to do if you’re worried about a child
If Your Child is Ill
If your child is away from school ill, please let us know what the reason is for the absence. If you do not let us know, we will have to mark the absence as unauthorised.
Lateral Flow Tests for Families
As we have mentioned previously, households which include children now have access to regular rapid lateral flow tests. Approximately 1 in 3 people do not have any symptoms but they can still pass the virus on to others.
A large proportion of children who have tested positive here have shown no symptoms, or one of the wider symptoms (runny nose, sickness, headache, etc.).
If you would like to access these tests, please read the information here.
Wider Covid Symptoms
We will continue to contact parents whose children are showing one of the wider symptoms associated with Covid. We ask that you please help safeguard the rest of the school community by accessing a test and keeping your child away from school until the results are known. Thank you.
