End of the first week back – I hope you all had a great half term break. Heading into Spring and motoring towards Easter; we have started the Easter story in worship this week. Ask your child what they can remember – they can share the story with you week-by-week. It’s a short half term this time – only 4 weeks until we break up for the Easter break. Have a good weekend.

World Book Day

As you are aware, we are having our World Book Day celebration on Thursday 9th March. If they wish, children can come dressed as a noun or an adjective – this will provide a fun opportunity for everyone to guess what everyone else has come as! A noun can be any object, or any proper noun (name of something/someone) so could be a character if you wish. There will be lots of things happening on the day too.

Parents’ Evenings

We had a great turnout for our parents’ evenings this week – thank you all and I hoped they helped you to have a better understanding of your child’s learning.

Earthquake Appeal

The final total collected was an amazing £1181.93 – thank you all so much for your incredible generosity.

Forest School Update

Forest school was back this week with Year 1 enjoying their second session and learning about the fire triangle and collecting wood so we could have a lovely fire.

They also built in their learning about garden birds and found the birds hidden in the trees and were able to identify them.

Of course no Forest school session is the same without a show  and Year 1 didn’t disappoint with great team work as the whole group organised a great performance!

Year 2 enjoyed their last session in the sunshine yesterday, having a s’more as a final treat and making their own bog babies!

Such a great week, with some very happy and muddy children!
