Will children be in ‘bubbles’?
Yes, children will be in their class ‘bubble’ for the duration of their day in school.
Do we have to send our children in, even if we don’t think it’s safe?
Yes, the Government have said that it expects all children to return to school in September. Please read all the information in the link above to see what we are doing to make school as safe a place as possible.

Just a message to say that myself and a number of other parents were extremely impressed and reassured by the system that you put in place today for the children to return to school. I immediately felt like they were safe and that the teachers had put as much as possible in place to protect our children, so Thank you. My child really enjoyed himself today in class.
My daughter returned to school today for the morning session in year one. I wanted to say thank you to the team at school as her experience was really positive and enjoyable. She was so happy when I picked her up and went to bed really excited to come to school tomorrow.
I appreciate how difficult it must be for you all at the moment but your efforts are really appreciated from parents and children alike. I felt reassured from the moment I stepped on the staff car park.
She was feeling anxious ahead of her return but she said her nerves disappeared the minute she walked in the class room. We feel very lucky to be part of such a lovely school.

Can I just say a MASSIVE WELL DONE on the seamless start to the school day this morning for Year 6. Everything looks very organised and staff were cheerful and engaging (not that I would expect any less) so even if there was apprehension, it didn’t show. I look forward to hearing how my daughter’s first day back went and I am sure she will be having a great day.
I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who has made the kids return to school possible and so enjoyable. I was keen for my child to return as he had become quite introverted and quiet with us at home. He was still happy and well but just not his usual bubbly self. Well what a difference 2.5 hours makes! He talked my ear off the whole way home and was just so excited to tell me everything he had done – it was honestly the best thing to see after 10 weeks of lockdown.
Thank you so much. I know it will have been a hard decision for everyone to make about whether to open the school, come to work, or to send our kids in but to see the difference in my child after just 1 afternoon has definitely reassured me that we had made the right decision.
